Q5 how did you attract/address your audience?

Firstly I addressed my audience with the image I used on my front cover, I have chosen a black and white image witch shows that we are not worried about it being all colourful and bright it’s all about the image, also the image has no props in it apart from the head phones this supports what I said about it not being about the picture it’s about the music. Another way I have addressed my audience is with the name of my magazine people who listen to drum and bass and dubstep, a magazine called DUBnBASS they will automatically be thinking this is the magazine for me as straight away it tells them what it is about and the background t my title will help attract them to it. Also my main image on my front cover will be a main attracting feature of my magazine the image is key to my selling point that my magazine is not about being all glamour and glitzy its all about the music, people will see the image and see that I am not trying to create a new amazing magazine they will see that I am trying to create a magazine for them full of things they want to know but at the same time they can see that there has still been some effort in taking the picture. Another thing is the colours I have used connect to my target audience I have chosen blues, yellows and black and white these colours I felt were the best to use because they are reasonably bright but they also don’t take the attention away from the music I have kept the same colour theme throughout the magazine.
