Q4) Who would be the audience for your media product?


Audience profile


Shops: Bank, JD sports, Giorgio, Topman, Republic, HMV and Primark


Products: Nike, Adidas, Henleys, Pizza, McDonolds and McKenzie


Hobbies: Dj’ing, Local gigs and music shows


Music: Borgore, Caspa, Rusko, Skream, Pendulum, Chrispy


TV: Reality TV shows (big brother, jersey shore), Skinz and misfits


Other interests: Clubbing, House parties, Raves, Festivals and drinking/ drugs( my magazine will not publisise drugs just that most people who use drugs listen to this genre of music)


My target audience is a very small and precise one so therefore its more psychographic than demographic .My target audience are not mainstream but neither is my magazine they are interested in being unique, my magazine incorporates their taste in music their fashion styles and hobbies such as local festivals and club info, as my magazine is targeting such a niche market they will connect to the magazine better because I can concentrate on just addressing them and not a wide audience this will therefore make them more loyal to my magazine. The cover lines I use will all be artists that my audience are interested in and also new upcoming dj’s and groups they would be interested in hearing about. The main image I use will also have to appeal to them I will mainly use black and white images as this shows that it is not a glossy magazine for upper-class people it’s all about the music, I would also use the same font for my cover lines this will show that it is not just a mess about and still has some professionalism.
